No Classes Easter Weekend
This fundamental course focuses towards building and maintaining your stamina, physically, emotionally and intellectually, within an ensemble practice. There will be an ensemble cabaret showcase at the end of this term’s work.
Class subjects will include:
| Acting | Fundamentals of acting, employing a range of techniques designed to empower and release your Inner Actor. |
| Singing | Safe and effective singing techniques; practical ensemble sessions covering a broad range of music theatre styles. |
| Spoken voice | Releasing and managing the potential of your spoken voice, building confident resonance, articulatory flexibility and clarity. |
| Body | Observing and enhancing body core strength and flexibility, steadily and safely building triple-threat performance practice and stamina. |
| Scene‑into‑Song | Here’s where we put it all together. Act, sing, move, and tell a good story all at the same time. |
As well as these staple curriculum subjects, there will be repertoire sessions for both songs and monologues, music theory, screen acting, theatre history and music theatre history.
